19th October: Evening theatre – Dare devil rides to Jarama

fb_event_buttonDare-Devil-PosterPeterborough Trades Union Council  is proud to present Townsend Productions’ theatre performance of Dare Devil Rides to Jarama. This is a play about British Speedway star, Clem ‘Dare Devil’ Beckett and poet, critic and aeronautical expert Christopher Caudwell who were bought together fighting for the Republican cause in the Spanish Civil War’s Battle for Jarama, in early 1937.

The play was commissioned by the International Brigades Memorial Trust and is being performed in Peterborough as part of PTUC’s ‘Don’t let Brex-it Break Us’ campaign against racism and fascism. Ticket £10 / £8 concessions. Please contact peterboroughtuc@gmail.com for tickets.
