20th November: Lunchtime Jazz – Latino Sound

For our final lunchtime concert of the year we welcome Latino Sound, which has been playing all things Latin since 2008, for their first appearance in St John’s. Their music ranges from Bossa Nova to Carlos Santana, an exciting mix of Latin-style jazz, fusion, funk and party music.

As usual the café will be open from noon, serving a range of hot drinks and home-made quiche, cakes, scones etc. All profits from the café will go to The Green Backyard. For this concert we’d like the audience to sit in the café area rather than moving to the pews at the front of the church. Some of you may even want to get up and shake a leg!

The music will begin promptly at 1pm. Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation. The suggested amount is £5.
