22nd October: Lunchtime Jazz – Latino Sound

This week it’s all change at Tuesdays Till Two as we switch from classical to jazz, and who better to start the ball rolling than Latino Sound, who were the final performers in our first season of jazz café concerts last year. Latino Sound have been playing all things Latin since 2008, their music ranges from Bossa Nova to Carlos Santana, an exciting mix of Latin-style jazz, fusion, funk and party music.

As usual the café will be open from noon, serving a range of hot drinks and home-made quiche, cakes, scones etc. For this concert we’d like the audience to sit in the café area rather than moving to the pews at the front of the church. Some of you may even want to get up and shake a leg!

The music will begin promptly at 1pm. Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation. The suggested amount is £5.

St John’s will be open all day between 10am and 4pm as our annual Cards For Good Causes stall is open from 16th October until 14th December.
