As a soloist and chamber musician, clarinettist Gordon Curtis has performed in concert halls across Britain, including performances at The Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Purcell Room and St John’s Smith Square, where he was invited to be a soloist with the Elgar Chamber Orchestra under Stephen Bell, performing Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No.2. Further afield, he has performed in Kazinska Dvorana (Slovene National Theatre, Maribor), where he was critically acclaimed for a performance with The Brodowski String Quartet, and in the Tokyo Opera House. He was recently invited by The Borletti-Buitoni Trust to perform for Martin Fröst in a public master class in the Purcell Room. He holds BMus and MMus degrees in Performance from Trinity College of Music. Aside from his performing career, Gordon teaches Clarinet at schools in West Sussex, and runs an artist management company, Quintessential Music.
