Harpist Rowena Bass won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music where she studied with Daphne Boden and Marisa Robles. She was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the year competition and Principal Harpist in the National Youth Orchestra. She is a member of English Serenata with whom she performs a wide range of chamber music and has made an extensive study of 17th and 18th century harp and piano repertoire with pianist Oliver Davies and gives recitals at Country houses. Rowena also manages to find the time to teach and runs workshops for young harpists. She enjoys coaching on the European Youth Summer Music Course and adjudicating at festivals and is also a member of English Serenata with whom she performs a wide range of chamber music, has toured with Scottish Ballet and plays for the Moscow City Ballet and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
