Alice Kershaw is the Heritage Regeneration Officer for Opportunity Peterborough and Peterborough City Council. She has used St Johns to the run the lunchtime lecture series, which ran as part of the Buildings in Need project from October 2011 to March 2012. In total 700 people attended the 12 lectures. St Johns was chosen as an ideal city centre venue, as it has a cafe, friendly staff and volunteers, and an impressive historic backdrop to presentations.
